KT Stockton…”stockie” as her teammates sometimes called her.  A remarkable young lady whose grace, style and dignity are enviable. KT was inducted in the very first USCAA Hall of Fame ceremony held in June of 2017 in Norfolk, Virginia. This is an amazing honor since she was one of only two athletes in the first USCAA Hall of Fame ceremony.

Katie was a stellar three sport high school athlete at Stevens High School in Claremont where she was the co-captain of the soccer team her senior year receiving several awards including MVP and the Gatorade Player of the Year.
At NHTI, Katie proved to be a major force on the soccer pitch helping us win Conference titles, advance to the nationals and earn numerous special recognitions for her many athletic and academic feats. She also played basketball for two seasons and then served as an assistant coach for the soccer and basketball teams after her playing days ended.
A clutch performer for our NHTI teams, Katie never missed a penalty kick and was the top selection yearly for conference recognition.  She also played an important role with the development of our many great women’s soccer teams helping build the foundation.
She was blessed with great speed, quickness, agility and foot skills along with a calm passionate approach to soccer and everyday life.
From her striker position, Katie led the team and the USCAA in scoring goals and assists. An exceptional student, Katie was a three-time USCAA academic All American and three time All-American.
Katie was also selected to play for USA International in the Australia Gold Coast games where she scored 8 goals and was named most valuable player. She was an outstanding representative for NHTI, her country, team and sport.
And her heroics were not just on the field of play in soccer.  She received a special community award for saving the life of a motorist who – when Katie was out jogging – came across slumped over his steering wheel. Administering CPR until the Rescue Squad arrived; Katie saved this person’s life. As always, she was calm, cool and collected and did everything right –and was humbled by the recognition.
In the fall of 2008, KT accepted a position at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) working in her chosen field of Radiology. At MGH, KT was awarded a Partners in Excellence Award for Leadership and Innovation in 2010 and a promotion to CT Evening Supervisor in 2012. She continues to receive promotions, national recognition for her outstanding work at the hospital and is busy with speaking engagements around the country for her expertise.
KT has run the Boston Marathon several times raising money for various charities and still finds time to help out coaching youth soccer. And in 2015, KT completed her Masters in Science with a focus in Healthcare Administration
On behalf of NHTI Athletics, let’s welcome Katie Stockton on stage for her induction to the NHTI Athletic Hall of Fame.
