CONCORD, N.H. - NHTI Volleyball continues its YSCC Volleyball Crossover Weekend schedule Saturday afternoon, taking on Vermont State University Randolph at noon on Court 2 inside the Dr. Goldie Crocker Wellness Center.

The Lynx enter Saturday at 6-0 overall and 3-0 in Yankee Small College Conference play after opening the weekend with a five-set victory over Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences Friday night. NHTI outlasted the Panthers 21-25, 25-22, 25-23, 19-25, 15-9 to remain unbeaten.

Friday marked the Lynx's first five-set match of the season after NHTI opened the year with five consecutive straight-set victories. After falling behind 5-3 in the deciding fifth set, the Lynx answered with five consecutive points to take an 8-5 lead and ultimately pulled away for the 15-9 victory.

Vermont State Randolph enters Saturday at 1-1 overall and 0-1 in conference play. The Knights opened their season with a 3-1 victory over Roxbury Community College on Aug. 29 before falling 3-1 to Paul Smith's College in their YSCC opener on Sept. 8. Two matches scheduled for Sept. 12 against Word of Life and Fashion Institute of Technology were postponed.

Saturday will mark the first recorded meeting between NHTI and Vermont State Randolph. The Knights launched their women's volleyball program in 2025.

Although the match will be played on NHTI's campus, it is designated as a neutral-site contest as part of YSCC Crossover Weekend, with the Lynx serving as the visiting team.

First serve is scheduled for noon Saturday on Court 2. NHTI will then close its four-match weekend Sunday with YSCC contests against Paul Smith's College at 2 p.m. and Word of Life at 4 p.m.
