CONCORD, N.H. - NHTI Volleyball returns to the Dr. Goldie Crocker Wellness Center Friday night to begin its schedule for the YSCC Volleyball Crossover Weekend, hosting Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at 7 p.m.

Friday's matchup features a pair of teams that have yet to suffer a conference loss this season. NHTI enters the weekend atop the YSCC East at 5-0 overall and 2-0 in conference play, while Albany sits atop the West at 1-1 overall and 1-0 against YSCC opponents.

The Lynx have opened the season with five consecutive victories, all coming in straight sets. NHTI most recently improved to 5-0 with a 3-0 road win over York County Community College on Thursday, taking the match 25-22, 25-16 and 25-22.

Emma Kowalski (Salem, N.H.) led NHTI with 12 kills against York County, while Esther de Souza Quina (Juiz de Fora, Minas Gerais, Brazil) recorded 11 kills, nine assists, four service aces and 23 digs. Haven Schwartz (Buxton, N.C.) finished with five aces and 42 digs as the Lynx extended their season-opening winning streak.

Albany opened its season with a 3-0 loss to Fashion Institute of Technology on Sept. 13 before responding with a 3-0 victory over Paul Smith's College in its YSCC opener Tuesday. The Panthers' currently published individual statistics reflect one match, with Grace O'Connell leading the team with eight kills and Jaylianna Pascarella recording 10 assists while hitting .364.

NHTI has won each of the four recorded meetings between the programs dating back to 2023. The Lynx earned two victories over Albany in both 2023 and 2024, including a five-set win in Concord on Sept. 14, 2024. NHTI won the most recent meeting on Oct. 5, 2024 at Paul Smith's College.

Friday's match begins a four-match weekend for the Lynx as NHTI hosts YSCC Crossover Weekend in Concord. Following Friday's 7 p.m. match against Albany, NHTI will face Vermont State University Randolph Saturday at noon before closing the weekend Sunday with matches against Paul Smith's College at 2 p.m. and Word of Life at 4 p.m.

All four NHTI matches will be played on Court 2 inside the Dr. Goldie Crocker Wellness Center.
