CONCORD, N.H. — NHTI Athletics is excited to announce Jarrod Smith as the interim head coach of the Lynx men's soccer program for the 2026 season.

Smith brings several years of collegiate coaching experience to Concord. Most recently, he served as interim head coach and first assistant coach with the Clark University men's soccer program from 2024 to 2025. Prior to Clark, Smith was an assistant coach at Suffolk University from 2022 to 2024 and served as the first assistant and goalkeeper coach for the Wellesley College women's soccer program from 2019 to 2023.

Before beginning his coaching career, Smith was a two-sport student-athlete at Newbury College, competing for four years as a goalkeeper in soccer and as a sprinter and jumper in track and field. He helped lead the Nighthawks to the 2018 NECC Soccer Championship and was a member of Newbury's 2017 and 2018 NECC Outdoor Track and Field championship teams.

Smith was also named Field Athlete of the Year in 2019 and finished his collegiate soccer career as the winningest player in program history while setting the program's career shutout record.

A 2019 graduate of Newbury College, Smith earned a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management and Accounting. He is also CPR/AED certified.

With experience as both a championship-winning student-athlete and collegiate coach, Smith brings an accomplished background to Concord as the Lynx look ahead to the 2026 season.
