YSCC Players of the Week - Winter Week 10

Here are the Yankee Small College Conference Players of the Week for week ten of the winter season.

Women's Basketball - Caitlyn McCoy (CMCC)

Caitlyn McCoy stepped up for the Mustangs in three tough games last week. The first-year guard from Greene, ME had the hot hand from beyond the arc, connecting on a combined 17 three-pointers and scoring 55 points in just 44 minutes of work. McCoy also had five assists and four rebounds in a win at Great Bay, and came up with two steals in a home victory against Monroe University-Bronx where she made 9 threes in one game.

Men's Basketball - Max Shosa (NHTI)

Max Shosa dominated over the week's three-game stretch, leading the Lynx to a 2-1 record with wins over Word of Life and Landmark College. During this stretch, Shosa averaged 26 PPG, including a career-high 32 against Landmark College on Sunday. The 6'5" freshman was also dominant on the boards, tallying two double-doubles highlighted by his 27-point, 20-rebound performance in NHTI's 97-80 win over the Huskies.
