CONCORD, N.H. - NHTI Baseball returns to action Wednesday afternoon when the Lynx travel to Bridgton, Maine, to take on Bridgton Academy in a seven-inning scrimmage at Koop Field. First pitch is scheduled for 4 p.m.
The Lynx enter Wednesday after splitting a pair of seven-inning scrimmages against Roxbury Community College on Saturday in Concord. NHTI dropped the opener, 9-7, before bouncing back with a 4-1 victory in game two. Brenden Ringman (Chicopee, Mass.) highlighted the win with a solo home run in the sixth inning, while TJ Charbono (Franklin, N.H.) closed out the victory to earn the save.
Bridgton opened its fall schedule Saturday with a 4-2 victory over Team Purple in a Showcase League game at the University of Southern Maine's Ed Flaherty Field. The Wolverines were scheduled to host Great Bay Community College on Sunday at Koop Field, but the contest was postponed.
Wednesday will mark NHTI's fourth game of the fall and its third scrimmage.
