CONCORD, N.H. - NHTI Baseball returns to the field Saturday afternoon when the Lynx host Roxbury Community College for a pair of seven-inning scrimmages at the NHTI Baseball Field. First pitch for Game 1 is scheduled for 12 p.m., with Game 2 slated for 2 p.m.

The Lynx enter the weekend following an 11-1 non-conference loss to York County Community College in their 2026 season opener Tuesday afternoon. NHTI recorded five hits in the contest, including doubles from Alan Mercedes (Santo Domingo, DR) and Pierre Mendez (Ponce, PR). Mendez drove in Mercedes for the Lynx's lone run and added two stolen bases.

Saturday will mark the fifth and sixth recorded meetings between NHTI and Roxbury. The Lynx hold a 3-1 advantage in the series, with each of the previous four matchups taking place in Concord. NHTI swept the first two meetings on September 21, 2024, earning 13-12 and 6-5 victories, before the teams split a doubleheader last season.

The most recent meetings came on October 4, 2025, when Roxbury claimed the opener, 6-4, before NHTI responded with a 12-5 victory in Game 2.
