CONCORD, N.H. – NHTI Baseball returns to countable action Wednesday afternoon when the Lynx host Great Bay Community College at 3 p.m. at the NHTI Baseball Field.
Wednesday's matchup begins a three-game homestand for NHTI, which will also host Masters Academy Saturday, Oct. 3 before welcoming the University of Maine at Augusta Sunday, Oct. 4. Each games are part of Homecoming Weekend
The Lynx enter Wednesday with a 1-2 overall record and 0-1 mark in Yankee Small College Conference play. NHTI has not played a countable contest since earning a 3-2 walk-off victory over Vermont State University Randolph on Sept. 15.
NHTI has remained active through its fall scrimmage schedule since that victory, playing a doubleheader at Vermont State University Lyndon on Sept. 19 and traveling to Quinsigamond Community College on Sept. 22. The Lynx were scheduled to host Massasoit Community College for a scrimmage doubleheader Sept. 26, but both games were postponed due to weather. NHTI's originally scheduled Sept. 27 matchup with the University of Maine at Augusta was also postponed and rescheduled for Oct. 4.
Wednesday marks the latest meeting between NHTI and Great Bay after the teams met seven times across the 2024-25 and 2025-26 seasons. The Lynx hold a 5-2 record over those seven meetings, including wins in each of the last three.
NHTI and Great Bay last met April 22 in Concord, when the Lynx earned a 7-6 victory. NHTI also swept the teams' Oct. 1, 2025 doubleheader in Portsmouth, winning 11-7 and 20-8.
First pitch between the Lynx and Herons is scheduled for 3 p.m. Wednesday at the NHTI Baseball Field. Watch live at YSCCSportsNetwork.com.
