CONCORD, N.H. - NHTI Baseball returns to the diamond Thursday afternoon when the Lynx host Bridgton Academy for a seven-inning scrimmage in Concord. First pitch is scheduled for 4 p.m.
NHTI enters Thursday coming off a 3-2 walk-off victory over Vermont State University Randolph.
Logan Minckler (Claremont, N.H.) lifted a sacrifice fly to left field in the bottom of the ninth inning, scoring
August Hatmaker (Peterborough, N.H.) and giving the Lynx their first countable victory of the 2026-27 season.
Thursday will be the second meeting between NHTI and Bridgton in just over a week. The Lynx traveled to Koop Field in North Bridgton, Maine, on Sept. 9, where the Wolverines earned a 10-0 victory in a seven-inning scrimmage.
The Lynx have played three scrimmage contests this fall, splitting a Sept. 5 doubleheader with Roxbury Community College before the first meeting with Bridgton. NHTI dropped the opener against Roxbury, 9-7, before responding with a 4-1 victory in the second game.
Brenden Ringman (Chicopee, Mass.) homered in the victory, while
TJ Charbono (Franklin, N.H.) closed out the game to earn the save.
Since the first Bridgton meeting, NHTI has played a pair of countable contests. The Lynx erased a 10-run deficit against Central Maine Community College in their lone YSCC game of the year, scoring 10 unanswered runs over the seventh, eighth, and ninth innings before ultimately falling 16-14 in 10 innings. NHTI then bounced back Tuesday with its walk-off victory over VTSU Randolph.
Thursday's contest will be NHTI's final home appearance before a stretch of four consecutive road games. The Lynx travel to Vermont State University Lyndon for a doubleheader Saturday before visiting Quinsigamond Community College for another twin bill Sunday.
First pitch against Bridgton is scheduled for 4 p.m. Thursday in Concord.
