Box Score 2 CONCORD, N.H - Baseball opened its 2026 home slate with a pair of losses, falling to Southern Maine and York County in YSCC play last week.
In Wednesday's home opener, Southern Maine asserted dominance early, unleashing 24 runs in the opening four innings of play. The Lynx plated three runners score in the sixth, but the early offense proved too much to overcome as the Seawolves secured a 25-5 victory.
Ethan Weimer led the the Lynx with a single and an RBI, while
Charles Hibbert added a double offensively. On the mound,
TJ Charbono, Brendan Ringman,
Kaelib Norman, and
Kade McBeath all made an appearance.
Tristan Laplante thrived at the dish for the visitors, driving home six runs on three hits, including a two-run double in the third inning. Cole Payne and Trent Collin combined for seven strikeouts in five scoreless innings on the mound for SMCC.
York County built steady momentum Friday, scoring in five of seven innings in an 11-0 win over the Lynx. Brady Batson had a tremendous day on the mound, dealing seven scoreless innings while allowing just four hits. Offensively, York received strong production from the top of the lineup, as Caden Fontaine and Noah Bryan each recorded three hits in five plate appearances.
Joseph Pericozzi got the start on the mound for the Lynx, allowing eight runs on 11 hits.
Nate Mattson provided steady relief, striking out two in a pair scoreless innings.

Killian Gauthier each recorded a hit in the loss.
