CONCORD, N.H. - NHTI Softball takes the field for the first time in 2026-27 on Monday afternoon, hosting Central Maine Community College for a fall non-conference doubleheader at the NHTI Softball Field.

First pitch of game one is scheduled for 3 p.m., with the second game set to follow at 5 p.m.

Monday marks the first competition of the year for the Lynx and brings a familiar opponent to Concord. Central Maine is a fellow member of the Yankee Small College Conference, although the doubleheader is designated as a non-conference and will not count toward the YSCC standings.

NHTI holds a 26-19 advantage in the all-time series with Central Maine dating back to 2011. The Lynx enjoyed a 21-game winning streak in the series from September 2013 through April 2019, while the Mustangs have taken each of the last seven meetings. NHTI's most recent victory over Central Maine came on April 7, 2023, when the Lynx earned a 17-12 win in Concord.

The teams last met in Auburn, Maine, on April 24, 2025, with Central Maine taking both games of a doubleheader.

Monday's matchup begins NHTI's 2026-27 schedule with two home contests against the Mustangs.
