Pottersville, N.Y - The NHTI Women's Soccer team took the road this weekend, traveling to New York for two conference games against Word of Life and Paul Smith's College.
The weekend started hot for the Lynx, who found themselves on the attack early against Word of Life on Saturday. In the 11th minute, Adrienne Dorr opened the scoring off an assist from Piper Flood. Just six minutes later, Flood found the back of the net, assisted by Kayla Amyot, to double the lead. Dorr would add to her tally in the 25th minute before completing her hat trick just before halftime.
The Lynx continued to dominate possession in the second half, with Leah Davignon capping off the 5-0 with a goal in the 88th minute.

Paul Smith's, N.Y - NHTI carried its momentum into a 4–1 victory over Paul Smith's College on Sunday to close out the weekend sweep.
Sydney Lemay notched her first goal of the season to give the Bobcats an early advantage, but NHTI quickly responded as Kayla Amyot converted a pass from Leah Davignon to even the score. The Lynx then took control just before halftime when Adrienne Dorr found the back of the net in the 37th minute. Late strikes from Alyviah Blad and Tyler Harrington secured the victory and completed the weekend sweep for NHTI.
NHTI returns home to host Central Maine on Thursday, October 9th at 4 PM.
