BOSTON, Mass. - NHTI Volleyball continued its unbeaten start to the 2026 season Friday evening, earning its second consecutive straight-set victory with a 3-0 win over Roxbury Community College at Madison Park High School.
The Lynx swept the Tigers, 3-0, taking the three sets by scores of 25-13, 25-10, and 25-9 to improve to 2-0. With the victory, NHTI has opened the season with consecutive wins for the first time since the 2019-20 campaign.
Sophomore Brooke Kelly (Nottingham, N.H.) led the NHTI attack with 15 kills. Freshman Esther de Souza Quina (Juiz de Fora, Brazil) directed the Lynx offense with 31 assists while adding 10 service aces, while freshman Emma Kowalski (Salem, N.H.) contributed eight kills.
NHTI took control early with a 25-13 victory in the opening set before holding Roxbury to 10 points in the second. The Lynx closed out their second consecutive sweep with their most decisive set of the young season, taking the third, 25-9.
The victory gives NHTI back-to-back straight-set wins to begin the season after Thursday's 3-0 victory at Northern Essex Community College. The Lynx have won each of their first six sets of the 2026 campaign.

NHTI returns to Concord for its home and conference opener Thursday, Sept. 10, when the Lynx host Southern Maine Community College at the Dr. Goldie Crocker Wellness Center. First serve is scheduled for 6 p.m.
