CONCORD, N.H. - NHTI hung around early but couldn't keep pace with a dominant second-half surge from Maine–Augusta, falling 91-57 on Tuesday night at the Crocker Wellness Center. 

AJ Richardson started the scoring, and Markel Brown added 8 quick points for the Lynx, who opened with a 12-11 lead with 12:30 left to play in the half. The two sides traded punches in the following minutes, before Augusta closed the half strong, finishing second-chance opportunities to extend their lead to 37-30 going into halftime.  

In the second, Augusta continued their momentum, led by junior Jacob Plamondon, who scored 10 of the opening 12 points to extend the advantage. From there, Augusta took over, dominating on the boards and on the defensive end, grabbing 21 offensive rebounds while holding the Lynx to under 33% from the floor. 

For NHTI, Brown ended with a team-high 14 points, including four from beyond the arc. Richardson followed with 12 of his own and Christian Forsythe scored 11 to round out the double-digit scoring. 

Keith Sharp powered UMA with a double-double, posting 17 points and 15 rebounds on 7-of-10 shooting, while Rocco Chang and Plamondon each added 13 points. 

Augusta improved to 7-7 and 3-1 in YSCC play. NHTI drops to 0-6 overall and 0-5 in conference play. The Lynx head on the road on Saturday, taking on Southern Maine CC at 3 p.m.
