NHTI came up short in both matches of the weekend road trip, falling 3-0 to Word of Life on Saturday and 6-2 to Paul Smith's on Sunday.
Pottersville, N.Y - Word of Life struck early and controlled the pace throughout, earning a 3–0 shutout over NHTI. Kleber Flores opened the scoring in the 6th minute off a pass from Felipe De Campos, and Bernabe Reyes doubled the lead just before halftime with an assist from Henrique Borges. Moments later, George Rohrbaugh converted from Morgan Bender to make it 3–0 before the break.
The Lynx created several second-half opportunities but were unable to break through against Word of Life goalkeeper Raphael Cournoyer, who made seven saves to preserve the clean sheet. Torrence Johnson recorded four saves for NHTI, while Delvaughn Daley and Joey Olivera each tallied three shots.

Paul Smith's, N.Y - Paul Smith's carried its offensive momentum into Sunday, powering past NHTI 6–2 behind a strong first-half performance. The Bobcats struck first in the 11th minute when Oliver Stoddard scored, but NHTI's Delvaughn Daley quickly responded in the 19th minute to even the match. Paul Smith's then scored four unanswered goals before halftime, with Nathan Wiley recording two goals and an assist, and Tristan Schrieb, Hyler Isham, and Jacob Butler also finding the net. Cazimir Couble earned the win in goal with eight saves.
Daley added a second goal in the 88th minute, finishing with a team-high seven shots on target. Despite generating 26 total shots, NHTI could not overcome Paul Smith's early surge and midfield pressure.
With the losses, NHTI falls to 3-4-0 overall and 1-3-0 and YSCC play. The Lynx host Central Maine on Thursday, October 9th at 4:00 PM.
