Portsmouth, N.H. - The NHTI women's volleyball team put together a dominant all-around performance on Wednesday night, sweeping Great Bay Community College 3–0 (25–16, 25–9, 25–15) on the road.
The Lynx attack was sharp from start to finish, hitting .239 as a team while holding the Herons to a -.040 percentage. Isabella Sandler led the way offensively, tallying 15 kills on a .433 hitting clip to go with nine digs and three service aces. Emma Bernard was equally impressive, finishing with 14 kills, 13 digs, and four aces for a double-double performance.
Setter Natalie Thoresen ran the offense efficiently, dishing out 31 assists and adding five service aces. Alissa Hamberg chipped in seven kills, while Libero Samantha Locker anchored the defense with a team-high 18 digs.
NHTI's serving pressure made the difference, producing 12 aces overall, and the Lynx defense limited Great Bay to just 11 total kills across three sets.
The Lynx finishes the regular season at 6-5 overall, 5-5 in YSCC action. YSCC playoffs action starts on October 20th.
